Biggie (Smalls)

Named after the Notorious B.I.G., Biggie joined Dr Jill’s family in August 2025 after an intense selection process by The Committee (Dr. Jill’s four boys). Always eager, he began interning at West Hartford and Avon Acupuncture as soon as his kennel cough cleared. He’s brought loads of joy (and occasional chaos) to our community ever since. He is currently taking obedience classes and studying for a promotion to office therapy dog— and learning pretty quickly for a pup! Genetic testing revealed that Biggie is actually 100% MINI… a Mini Australian Shepherd, that is.

Boshi, RIP (Office Pup)

(he/him/his) The heart of our tribe, Boshi passed in 2024 due to old age and a heart that was too big for his little body. He was available for “therapeutic” belly rubs and prone to napping in treatment rooms or at the front desk. Although he acted aloof, he knew he was the boss. Boshi made West Hartford Acupuncture a joyful place to be and will be remembered and missed by those who met him. RIP Boshi. Happy Trails.
